Li Zhenguo, founder and president of LONGi, recently met with Mohammad Abunayyan, founder and chairman of ACWA Power, in Xi’an. Their discussion centered on enhancing their collaboration in the renewable energy sector, highlighting LONGi’s commitment to both the Saudi and global markets. Dennis She, LONGi Vice President, and Ma Jun, LONGi Hydrogen President, also contributed to the conversation.

Li Zhenguo emphasized LONGi’s dedication to providing low-cost clean energy worldwide, showcasing their comprehensive products and solutions in green power and green hydrogen. These innovations support global zero-carbon development and offer sustainable energy solutions to Saudi Arabia and beyond. LONGi’s partnership with ACWA Power reflects their commitment to clean production and green manufacturing. Their contributions have been crucial to several key projects, including the Neom Phase I and II, Sudair, and Red Sea photovoltaic power stations, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

In June, at the 17th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (SNEC) Conference in Shanghai, LONGi and ACWA Power signed a Framework Agreement to deepen their green energy collaboration. Li Zhenguo underscored Saudi Arabia’s potential in the renewable energy market and reiterated LONGi’s commitment to leveraging advanced photovoltaic technology for the country’s green development.

Mohammad Abunayyan praised the successful collaboration and the framework agreement, emphasizing ACWA Power’s commitment to decarbonization and sustainable development. He expressed eagerness to continue working with LONGi to explore new renewable energy pathways and expand their global footprint, driving the global energy transition.

Moving forward, LONGi and ACWA Power will focus on deep technological cooperation and innovation, aiming to deliver cleaner and more efficient energy solutions. Their joint efforts will further advance the global energy transition and the growth of renewable energy.
