CEVA Logistics has partnered with Almajdouie Logistics to form a joint venture in Saudi Arabia, named CEVA Almajdouie Logistics. This venture aims to address the rising demand for integrated logistics solutions in the region, with CEVA holding a majority stake.
Mohammed Almajdouie, chairman of the new venture, emphasized the alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, stating that the partnership will enhance the global reach of Saudi businesses and support the nation’s rapid transformation. Almajdouie highlighted their longstanding involvement in the logistics sector as a foundation for this collaboration.
Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics, noted the importance of seamless logistics in the growing Saudi market. He believes the joint venture, leveraging both companies’ strengths, will rank among the top logistics players in the country, benefiting customers with world-class services.
The venture will be based in Damman, led by CEO Bassel El Dabbagh, employing around 2,000 people and operating a fleet of over 2,000 vehicles in Saudi Arabia.
