FlyNow Arabia has attracted significant investment from Den VC and prominent family offices, including the Al Mohaidab, Reslan, and Mehchi families, according to company statements. This funding aims to accelerate the integration of electric air mobility solutions within Saudi Arabia.
With the new capital, FlyNow Arabia plans to launch a regulatory sandbox for testing and begin building local manufacturing facilities for its FlyNow eCopter—a modular, fully electric aircraft designed for both passenger and cargo transport. The company will focus on developing this next-generation eVTOL technology within the Kingdom, in line with the country’s Vision 2030 goals.
Yvonne Winter, CEO of FlyNow Arabia, described the investment as a pivotal step, emphasizing the strong alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the commitment to sustainable and innovative mobility. The FlyNow eCopter is designed to be ultra-lightweight and quiet, operating below 55 dB(A), and uses advanced autopilot systems for automated flights, which supports streamlined certification and regulatory approval.
Beyond passenger and cargo transport, FlyNow Arabia is also working on specialized eCopter variants for firefighting and medical evacuation, broadening the scope of its 3D mobility solutions to essential public services.
The initiative is expected to boost local manufacturing, foster job creation, and drive advancements in logistics and smart mobility, with support from the National Industrial Development Center and the Ministry of Investment. Waleed Khalil, Managing Partner at Den VC, highlighted the project’s alignment with regulatory standards and national ambitions for future-ready aviation.
