Saudi Arabia will host the inaugural Hydrogen Arabia Summit & Exhibition in Riyadh on December 8 – 9, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC. The event is organized by RX, the team behind the World Hydrogen Summit.
Positioned as a new hub for hydrogen and clean energy collaboration, the summit combines a strategic conference with a technology showcase. It aims to move policy and technology dialogue toward market-ready outcomes.
Policy and program focus
Discussions will focus on hydrogen’s role in Vision 2030, achieving Net Zero by 2060, and scaling carbon capture, utilisation and storage. The program will also highlight the Kingdom’s Circular Carbon Economy framework, introduced during its G20 Presidency in 2020, as a pathway to emissions reduction with energy security.
Sessions will address investment flows, certification and trade, and decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors. Speakers are expected from the International Renewable Energy Agency, ENOWA NEOM, Securing Energy for Europe, Air Liquide, Hy24, and Aramco Ventures.
Investment context and stakeholders
The summit comes amid major energy transition commitments in Saudi Arabia, including over 1 trillion Saudi Riyals (USD 270 billion) for the power sector and 880 billion Saudi Riyals (USD 235 billion) for renewables, according to the event announcement. Organizers also cited the NEOM green hydrogen project and a USD 10 billion Public Investment Fund allocation to hydrogen, according to the event announcement.
RX describes Hydrogen Arabia as a platform to accelerate investment, innovation, and long-term energy security. The event targets collaboration across government, industry, and finance to scale hydrogen in the region and beyond.
