PV Hardware (PVH) has been selected to supply solar trackers for the Rabigh 2 Solar PV Plant in Saudi Arabia, a utility-scale development supporting Vision 2030. The 376.26 MW project, according to Zawya
, is part of the National Renewable Energy Program’s third round and is led by Al Jomaih Water and Electricity Company and TotalEnergies, with SEPCO International as EPC contractor.
PVH will provide its AxoneDuo Infinity tracking systems, engineered for high performance in desert conditions. The company’s Terrain Response features are designed to cut earthworks and ramming by about 90%, according to Zawya
, helping reduce EPC costs and simplify site restoration.
The project reinforces PVH’s regional presence and its focus on durable, low-maintenance solutions tailored to the Middle East. The trackers are built to endure extreme temperatures and sand-laden environments.
Rabigh 2 is set to deliver one of the region’s lowest solar tariffs at $1.78 per kWh, according to Zawya
, advancing Saudi Arabia’s push to diversify its energy mix. The plant is expected to supply clean power for more than 200,000 homes, also according to Zawya
, while cutting emissions and strengthening grid resilience.
By partnering with leading developers and contractors, PVH continues expanding its global footprint in solar tracking, according to Zawya
. The Rabigh 2 award underscores its role as a trusted technology partner in the energy transition.
