During a series of strategic encounters in Morocco, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, engaged in talks with officials from Iraq, Sudan, Libya, and Palestine. The purpose of these discussions was to bolster industrial integration between Arab countries and to emphasize the rich opportunities found within Saudi Arabia’s mining industry.
In individual meetings with Iraqi Minister Khaled Battal Al Najm, Libyan Minister Ahmed Abu Hisa, Sudanese Minister Mahasen Ali Yaqoub, and Palestinian Minister Arafat Asfour, Al-Khorayef sought to deepen cooperation. The ministers collectively assessed the potential benefits and incentives for investors within Saudi Arabia’s industrial and mining landscapes.
The conversations, which occurred on the margins of the 28th general assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining Organization (AIDSMO) in Rabat, revolved around advancing the mining sector and exchanging industrial expertise. Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs, also contributed to these discussions.
Al-Khorayef wrapped up his visit to Morocco after leading the Saudi delegation at the AIDSMO general assembly, marking a step forward in regional industrial collaboration.
