Unipart, the Cowley-headquartered entity, has recently declared the commencement of its business activities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The enterprise, which specializes in logistics, supply chain services, manufacturing, and consultancy, already boasts a presence across various global regions, including Europe, North America, Australia, and Japan.
In continuation of its international growth, Unipart has extended its reach to the Middle East, complementing its existing operations in the United Arab Emirates.
At the helm of Unipart’s expansion into Saudi Arabia is Tahir Malik, the appointed Country Director, who carries over two decades of logistical expertise within the Kingdom, including tenure with key Saudi Arabian entities.
“Unipart is well-equipped to tap into the burgeoning supply chain sector of Saudi Arabia, which stands at the cusp of a major logistical evolution, acting as a pivotal hub connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa,” expressed Darren Leigh, Unipart’s CEO.
“With Tahir Malik’s extensive background in scaling supply chains across Saudi Arabia, we’re poised to leverage the nation’s substantial economic diversification and development initiatives, enhancing growth and productivity for our clientele,” Leigh added.
“Our rich, half-century-long heritage in supply chain mastery, underpinned by a staunch dedication to safety and sustainability, positions us ideally to provide a wide array of solutions that promise high performance and value,” Leigh emphasized.
Concluding with optimism, Leigh remarked on the prospective growth and expansion opportunities for Unipart’s partners and its own business prospects within the Saudi Arabian market.
