Anticipation is high among Saudi real estate entities as a significant gathering in Riyadh aims to bolster connections within the supply chain, enabling industry leaders to unite and establish meaningful collaborations.
Endorsed by the housing minister, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the National Housing Co. is set to inaugurate the Real Estate Supply Chain Forum on May 20-21 at the JW Marriot Hotel in Riyadh. This initiative is intended to catalyze the growth of the property market.
Local and global firms, advisors, builders, and producers will come together to discuss cooperative ventures, with a strong emphasis on constructing housing projects that prioritize both quality and affordability, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
The forum promises to unveil investment prospects, pave the way for investment accords and strategic alignments, set new benchmarks, and brainstorm trailblazing solutions for property development.
This assembly will also reveal the most recent accords to fortify supply chains, encompassing partnerships between the NHC and various domestic and international allies.
Dialogue sessions are on the schedule, set to spotlight cutting-edge building material technologies. These discussions will encourage knowledge sharing among companies from different nations, aiming to strengthen the supply chain network.
On a recent visit to China by the minister, the NHC CEO Mohammad Al-Buty cemented a deal with CITIC Construction Group. The agreement involves setting up an industrial city and logistics zones for building materials that will include 12 factories, expressly to stabilize supply chains for the NHC’s housing initiatives.
The NHC has expressed that its accord with the Chinese construction titan is a strategic move to guarantee the steady flow of supplies necessary for timely and high-quality project completion.
Moreover, the deal is set to ignite the economic and developmental roles of the real estate industry in the kingdom, enhance housing projects, boost quality, and foster national advancement in construction through these new industrial cities and logistics zones.
