During the trip, His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef is scheduled to meet with Indonesia’s Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources and the Minister of Industry, as well as other senior public officials.
The agenda also includes talks with private sector leaders, such as Febriany Eddy, Director and CEO of PT Vale, and Shaqiq Akasya, CEO of BioPharma. Saudi Arabia has invested in Indonesian companies like Vale Indonesia, a key supplier of nickel for electric vehicle batteries.
This engagement aligns with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes investment in electric vehicle technology and the transition to clean energy.
