On a recent announcement, Sungrow Power Supply Co., a leading Chinese producer of photovoltaic inverters, declared it has finalized a deal with Algihaz Holding of Saudi Arabia. The pact is for an energy storage initiative that boasts a substantial capacity of up to 7.8 gigawatt-hours (GWh).
The delivery of this project is slated for the current year. It is anticipated to enhance the robustness and dependability of the power grid throughout Saudi Arabia. Additionally, it will contribute to the achievement of the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030, a strategic framework aimed at reducing the country’s dependence on oil, diversifying its economy, and developing public service sectors.
