CEVA Logistics and Almajdouie Logistics have finalized a joint venture agreement in Saudi Arabia, announced at the Global Logistics Forum in Riyadh. This partnership, named CEVA Almajdouie Logistics, aims to enhance logistics solutions in the region by utilizing the strengths of both companies.
First revealed in July 2024, the venture has received approval from Saudi authorities. CEVA Logistics holds a majority stake, aiming to boost Saudi Arabia’s logistics sector and the broader economy. The collaboration builds on a longstanding relationship between the two companies, with previous joint efforts in vehicle logistics.
The joint venture will integrate Almajdouie’s domestic assets with CEVA’s global network, offering comprehensive logistics services. Based in Dammam, the organization will be led by CEO Bassel El Dabbagh and employ around 2,000 staff with a fleet exceeding 2,000 assets.
CEVA Logistics, headquartered in Marseille, France, is a global leader in supply chain solutions, operating in 170 countries with approximately 110,000 employees. Part of the CMA CGM Group, CEVA reported a 2023 revenue of US$20.2 billion.
Almajdouie Logistics, a prominent Middle Eastern supply chain provider, offers tailored logistics across various sectors. The company operates a significant fleet and extensive warehousing facilities, managed by a skilled workforce of over 2,000 employees from its headquarters in Dammam.
