CEVA Logistics and Almajdouie Logistics have officially formed a joint venture in Saudi Arabia, named CEVA Almajdouie Logistics. This partnership was finalized at the first Global Logistics Forum in Riyadh. The venture aims to enhance integrated logistics solutions in the Kingdom, aligning with its growing economic demands. CEVA holds a majority stake in this collaboration.
CEVA, active in Saudi Arabia since the 1980s, has a history of joint ventures with Almajdouie. The new venture will merge the logistics operations of both companies, combining Almajdouie’s local infrastructure with CEVA’s global network. Based in Damman, the organization will be led by CEO Bassel El Dabbagh, employing around 2,000 people with a fleet of over 2,000 vehicles.
Chairman Mohammed Almajdouie expressed confidence in the venture, noting its alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. He emphasized the venture’s potential to offer comprehensive global services and strengthen Saudi businesses’ international presence.
CEVA Logistics CEO Mathieu Friedberg highlighted the strategic significance of the venture, anticipating it will become one of Saudi Arabia’s top logistics players. The partnership is seen as a crucial move to enhance logistics services amid the Kingdom’s economic growth.
