Saudi Arabia to Host Inaugural Inter Aviation Arabia in 2026

Saudi Arabia will host the inaugural Inter Aviation Arabia in Riyadh in February 2026, a major step in its drive to become a global aviation and travel hub as part of its Vision 2030 strategy. Organized by RX, a leading international exhibition organizer, the event will unite key players from the travel, airport, airline, and logistics industries.

According to the Associated Press, Saudi Arabia is backing its aviation ambitions with a $100 billion investment aimed at expanding airport infrastructure, developing new routes, and increasing annual passenger capacity to 330 million. The initiative, supported by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), also targets connecting the Kingdom to over 250 international destinations through a network of 29 airports.

Focus Areas and Industry Participation

Inter Aviation Arabia will focus on four main themes:

  • Airport investments
  • Infrastructure development
  • Advancements in aviation equipment
  • Airline route expansion

The event will highlight new technologies in airport operations, sustainability, and digital transformation, reflecting current trends in the global aviation sector.

Industry leaders, airport executives, airline representatives, and technology innovators from around the world are expected to attend. The exhibition will feature next-generation aviation products and live demonstrations, providing a platform for business partnerships and technological collaboration.

Seminars, Collaboration, and Economic Impact

A series of technical seminars and panel discussions will run alongside the event, covering topics such as:

  • Airport digitization
  • Operational efficiency
  • Sustainability
  • The evolving passenger experience

These sessions are designed to encourage knowledge sharing and foster innovation as the industry adapts to increased demand and changing global conditions.

Inter Aviation Arabia is set to support Saudi Arabia’s broader economic transformation by attracting foreign investment, promoting workforce development, and reinforcing Riyadh’s position as a growing international business center. As the Kingdom seeks to diversify its economy beyond oil, this event will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region.

With the approach of February 2026, Riyadh is preparing to welcome aviation professionals from across the globe, marking a new chapter in connectivity, innovation, and global collaboration for the region.
