JD.com is expanding its logistics operations in Saudi Arabia, positioning itself as a significant player in the Middle East’s supply chain sector.

JD Logistics has hired over 1,000 employees and opened new warehouses across Saudi Arabia. According to company sources, it has launched a major automotive spare parts center in partnership with Chery, serving vehicles from five leading brands. Additionally, JD Logistics now supports a new energy vehicle brand in the region, strengthening its foothold in the rapidly changing automotive market.

This expansion is expected to enhance logistics efficiency and supply chain reliability in the Middle East. Industry observers note that JD.com’s growing presence could attract more businesses seeking robust logistics solutions, potentially driving regional economic development.

The move also highlights Saudi Arabia’s emergence as a logistics hub, reflecting global trends in supply chain diversification and sustainability. JD.com’s strategic investment in the region may influence future logistics models and international trade dynamics.
