Saudi Arabia has introduced its first direct European flight to Red Sea International Airport, marking a major step in expanding global access to the Kingdom’s emerging luxury destinations. The route, launched from Milan, supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, according to Red Sea Global.
The new service opens a streamlined gateway for European travelers to the Red Sea and AMAALA, pairing Beond’s premium onboard experience with airport facilities designed to reflect the local environment. The route was unveiled during a signing ceremony at the TOURISE Global Tourism Summit in Riyadh, underscoring a broad partnership to elevate high-end travel to the Kingdom.
Red Sea Global described the milestone as a significant boost to international connectivity and an example of its focus on innovative luxury experiences.
The Red Sea destination currently offers nine luxury hotels and the exclusive Thuwal Private Resort off Jeddah, according to Red Sea Global. The company also announced the launch of AMAALA’s first phase, featuring six luxury resorts, a yacht club, the Coralium Marine Life Institute, a state-of-the-art marina, and a vibrant marina village in the coming weeks, also according to Red Sea Global.
