The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will join the first Global Logistics Forum, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This significant event, taking place at the King Abdullah Financial District, aims to reshape the global logistics landscape.
Under the theme “Reshaping the global map of logistics,” the forum will gather industry leaders to discuss innovative solutions for a sustainable future in logistics. GACA will showcase how the Saudi Aviation Strategy supports Vision 2030 and aims to position Saudi Arabia as a leading global logistics hub by 2030.
The ambitious goal of the Saudi Aviation Strategy is to boost air cargo capacity from 0.8 million tons in 2023 to 4.5 million tons by 2030. This initiative involves a $100 billion investment to modernize aviation infrastructure, leveraging Saudi Arabia’s strategic location at the crossroads of three continents.
GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej will engage in a fireside chat at the forum to discuss the Kingdom’s approach to global logistics challenges and the role of Riyadh Integrated and other logistics zones in achieving these objectives.
With over 10,000 visitors from more than 30 countries expected, the event will serve as a platform for global logistics leaders to exchange best practices and address sector challenges.

The Saudi Aviation Strategy aims to transform the country’s aviation sector into the Middle East’s leading force by 2030, aligned with Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy. It facilitates US$100 billion in investments across airports and airlines, enhancing connectivity and tripling passenger traffic.
GACA, as the aviation regulator, is tasked with advancing the air transport industry to international standards, bolstering Saudi Arabia’s global aviation influence, and ensuring safety, security, and sustainability in air transport.
