Saudia Group has announced its role as a Presenting Partner at the first-ever Global Logistics Forum 2024, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services in Riyadh. The event, under the auspices of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will take place from October 12 to 14.
At the forum, Saudia Group will highlight its innovations in logistics and aviation, aligning with its mission to solidify Saudi Arabia’s status as a global logistics hub, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The group will be represented by its subsidiaries, Saudi Logistics Services (SAL) and Saudia Cargo, both leaders in their fields. The event is expected to see several agreements signed, focusing on expanding partnerships, enhancing client relations, and strengthening market leadership.
A major highlight will be the introduction of the all-electric jet by Lilium in Saudi Arabia. This follows a significant agreement with Lilium to acquire up to 100 eVTOL jets, signed in Munich in July 2024. This initiative underscores Saudia Group’s commitment to sustainable aviation and aims to improve regional air mobility, particularly for pilgrims traveling between Jeddah and Makkah.
The Global Logistics Forum 2024 will gather industry leaders worldwide, providing Saudia Group with a platform to engage with potential partners and drive innovation in logistics and aviation.
