The mission focused on advancing collaboration in maritime and aviation, with Singaporean firms gaining strategic roles in port operations and aviation services. These efforts support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objective to boost connectivity and economic diversification, according to Enterprise Singapore.
Key projects like King Salman Park highlight immediate prospects for partnerships in urban solutions, facilities management, and smart city technologies, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to large-scale urban transformation. Food security also emerged as a priority, with Saudi organizations seeking Singapore’s expertise in agritech and supply chain innovation.
Bilateral ties are set to strengthen through the Saudi-Singapore Strategic Partnership Council, co-chaired by Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, which aims to expand cooperation in economic development and innovation.
