Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region Municipality has initiated a significant project to establish a fully integrated industrial city in Dammam, spanning 2.4 million square meters. This development aims to boost the region’s economy and industrial production.
The new city will host various light industries and manufacturing facilities, along with worker accommodations and essential support services. The initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance infrastructure and services in industrial zones across the Eastern Region.
Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the project seeks to drive economic growth by optimizing costs, increasing revenues, and involving the private sector without relying on government capital. Key objectives include:
- Creating job opportunities for local residents
- Improving the quality of life
The municipality has identified over 400 investment opportunities and catalogued more than 20,000 investment assets, covering an area exceeding 116 million square meters. By 2026, it aims to offer 5,000 investment opportunities and utilize over 90% of its assets.
Investors and entrepreneurs are encouraged to explore these opportunities through the municipality’s Investment Excellence Centre and the digital platform for Saudi cities.
