Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector continued to expand in October, with new licenses and newly operational factories adding investment and jobs across the Kingdom.
According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources’ National Industrial and Mining Information Center, 95 new industrial licenses were issued during the month. These projects represent more than SAR 2.4 billion in planned investment and are expected to create over 942 jobs in various regions.
In the same period, 81 factories moved from licensing to actual production. These operating facilities accounted for about SAR 1.3 billion in investments and are projected to provide 1,922 job opportunities, according to the Ministry’s data.
The Ministry also reported that the total number of existing industrial facilities reached 12,769 factories, reflecting continued growth in the Kingdom’s industrial base. Together, the latest licensing and production figures underscore the ongoing momentum in Saudi Arabia’s industrial development.
