Comau presented its latest automation technologies at Industrial Transformation Saudi Arabia (ITSA), held from December 1 to 3 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. The event, supported by Hannover Messe, serves as a major regional platform for advancing smarter, greener and more resilient manufacturing.
At its booth, Comau highlighted solutions designed to accelerate the shift to Industry 4.0. The company showcased industrial and collaborative robots, automated assembly systems, and technologies focused on battery production and renewable energy applications.
Energy-related systems were a particular focus, including Comau’s capabilities in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hydrogen processes, which closely support the Kingdom’s long-term sustainability agenda under Saudi Vision 2030. The company also displayed an expanded intralogistics portfolio enhanced through the integration of Automha’s automated storage and retrieval solutions.
Comau positions itself as a partner for both local and global companies operating in Saudi Arabia’s rapidly growing and diversifying economy. It aims to help customers achieve key digitalization and automation targets with flexible, scalable solutions that improve operational performance.
According to Stefania Ferrero, Comau’s chief marketing and solutions portfolio officer, ITSA offered a valuable forum to meet directly with customers and institutions shaping the region’s industrial path. She noted strong interest not only in advanced automation and energy solutions, but also in Comau Academy’s robotics and training programs, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and the development of smarter, more sustainable manufacturing in the region.
