His Excellency Bandar Al-Khorayef, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, is visiting Denmark to strengthen industrial ties and explore collaborative investment opportunities between the two nations.
During his trip, His Excellency toured Novo Nordisk, a leading pharmaceutical company in diabetes care, where he reviewed advanced insulin and biopharmaceutical production techniques. He emphasized the strategic partnership between Novo Nordisk and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund through Lifera, which aims to localize the manufacturing of GLP-1 drugs and insulin in the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
His Excellency also visited the Technical University of Denmark Science Park, the country’s main hub for technology and innovation. There, he was briefed on research and development initiatives and key projects that drive industrial progress and sustainability.
These visits reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to building international partnerships, promoting knowledge exchange, and advancing technology transfer. The efforts align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on diversifying the national economy and developing new industries within the Kingdom.
