Italian agricultural technology recently garnered significant attention in Saudi Arabia, with Agrimat emerging as a standout at the SaudiFood Manufacture Show in Riyadh, which concluded on May 2nd. The company is now gearing up for its next exhibition at Macfrut.
The Tortona-based firm, with over four decades in the market, specializes in machinery for sorting and processing a variety of produce such as fruits, vegetables, prickly pears, dates, coconuts, and for extracting essential oils.
Agrimat’s Sales Director, Catia Cassol, expressed pride in the recognition their innovations received. “It was a great satisfaction,” she said, “to be nominated for the most innovative technology with our Opun Tech360 for prickly pear processing. Although we didn’t win first prize, the acknowledgment and interest from numerous Arabian Peninsula operators in our processing solutions was a highlight.“
As Macfrut approaches, the spotlight is on Agrimat’s fruit and vegetable technology. Cassol elaborates on their offerings: “Our optical sorters, equipped with Omron technology, enable meticulous product selection, enhancing efficiency and reducing waste. Additionally, our sophisticated distillation and essential oil extraction systems preserve the ingredients’ aromatic and nutritional quality, ensuring the excellence of the final product. These technologies not only streamline processes but also bolster the sustainability of the supply chain, diminishing environmental impact and encouraging eco-friendly agricultural methods.“
Agrimat remains committed to equipping its clientele with top-tier tools that facilitate superior sustainability and quality in the market. Prospective clients and partners can connect with Agrimat representatives at Macfrut in Hall B3, stand 188.
