Jeddah’s industrial growth is set to accelerate with the development of 52 ready-built factories, thanks to a partnership between Saudi Arabia’s MODON and Oman’s Osara Corp. This collaboration will establish an industrial park over 45,000 sq. meters in Jeddah’s Second Industrial City.
This initiative aligns with MODON’s objectives to boost foreign direct investment and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia aims to triple its manufacturing GDP by 2030, increasing industrial exports to SR557 billion and total sector investments to SR1.3 trillion.
The agreement empowers entrepreneurs and SMEs, signaling a push for greater private sector involvement in industrial development. MODON is also launching new services to meet beneficiary needs, including ready-made factory solutions and the “Motamim” initiative for operational support.
In 2024, MODON completed several projects, including the construction of factories and production sites in Jeddah and Taif. Additional developments were made in Al-Ahsa and Waad Al-Shamal, reinforcing MODON’s vision as a top investment destination.
Since 2001, MODON has expanded to over 215 million sq. meters of developed land across 37 industrial cities, contributing significantly to Saudi Arabia’s economic landscape.
