Larsen & Toubro has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, L&T Valves Ltd, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The establishment is strategically situated near Al Jubail, along the Dammam-Abu Hadriyah Highway.
As a major provider of on-off valves to the Saudi market, L&T Valves aims to boost its local production capacity with this initiative. The move is designed to align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which encourages diversification and industrial growth within the country.
Anil V Parab, a senior executive at L&T, emphasized that the new plant will not only expand the company’s manufacturing capabilities in the region but will also deepen its ties with Saudi Arabia.
The facility is expected to cater to the increasing demands in the Middle East and Africa, signifying L&T’s commitment to serving these key markets. Known for its extensive global operations, L&T is an Indian conglomerate with a focus on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Projects, advanced manufacturing, and Services, boasting a turnover of 27 billion dollars.
