NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) and Oxagon have formed a strategic partnership to drive industrial growth and sustainability in NEOM. NGHC will lead the development of the world’s largest green hydrogen plant within Oxagon, NEOM’s advanced industrial city on the Red Sea, according to company statements.
This facility is set to deliver affordable, large-scale green hydrogen, anchoring Oxagon’s clean energy manufacturing ambitions. The project, launched in 2023, is central to NEOM’s plan for a carbon-neutral, circular economy and supports its vision of becoming a global leader in sustainable industry.
NGHC’s plant will use advanced technologies to produce clean hydrogen efficiently, aiming to set new standards for cost and scale. Its location near NEOM’s port streamlines logistics and boosts export potential to international markets.
Oxagon supports the initiative by providing investor services, specialized infrastructure, and state-of-the-art logistics through the Port of NEOM. It also offers tailored living solutions for NGHC staff. The project is expected to attract related industries, strengthening Oxagon’s role as a center for sustainable manufacturing and innovation.
This collaboration directly supports the objectives of Vision 2030 and global net-zero targets, positioning NGHC and Oxagon as models for scalable clean energy production and export.
