Emdad Industries, the industrial arm of Egypt’s El Tholathia Group, has entered a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia’s EMC Company to drive joint investments in industry and advanced manufacturing. The agreement was announced at the Third Saudi International Iron and Steel Conference 2025.
The plan includes two integrated industrial complexes: one in Egypt’s 10th of Ramadan City and another in Jeddah’s Second Industrial Zone. The project is designed to strengthen economic ties and expand productive industries in both countries.
The collaboration aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, focusing on knowledge transfer, regional integration, and sustainable growth. It aims to build joint value chains and broaden opportunities for cross-border industrial development.
The initiative also fits within wider Arab cooperation efforts, including major regional undertakings such as the large-scale Sports City project in Derna, Libya. Emdad Industries continues to showcase at local and international exhibitions as part of its modernization and expansion strategy.
El Tholathia, founded in 2002, supplies and markets steel products for civil engineering, petrochemical, and contracting sectors, and manufactures plates, beams, and angles. The company targets annual growth of 20% to 30%, according to El Tholathia Company.
