Smart Infrastructure Partnership Drives Saudi Vision 2030

Desert Technologies and AlKhorayef Industries unite for innovation and local manufacturing.

Desert Technologies, recognized as the first Saudi company to manufacture and export solar panels and a member of the “Made in Saudi” program, has entered a strategic partnership with AlKhorayef Industries Company. This collaboration aims to enhance Saudi Arabia’s smart infrastructure, supporting the country’s Vision 2030 goals, according to company statements.

The agreement outlines joint efforts in commercial projects, technology integration, and resource sharing. Both companies plan to accelerate the introduction of innovative products and services for the Kingdom’s industrial and infrastructure sectors, with ambitions to reach regional markets.

By combining their expertise, Desert Technologies and AlKhorayef Industries intend to deliver advanced smart infrastructure systems. The partnership is expected to drive economic diversification, promote local manufacturing, encourage technology transfer, and create new job opportunities, positioning Saudi Arabia as a leader in smart infrastructure innovation.

Mohammed G. Aljashaam, Chief Executive Officer of AlKhorayef Industries Company, described the agreement as a milestone for the sector, emphasizing its role in delivering high-quality, innovation-driven services aligned with Vision 2030. Khaled Ahmed Sharbatly, Chief Executive Officer of Desert Technologies Group, highlighted that the partnership will support the Kingdom’s transition toward a more diversified and sustainable economy, while expanding opportunities for local manufacturing.

This collaboration reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to modernize infrastructure, boost industrial growth, and advance renewable energy solutions. Through their combined strengths, both companies aim to strengthen the Kingdom’s position in the global clean technology sector.
